Age Calculator: How Old Am I in Years, Months and Days?

Enter a date of birth to see the exact age today, or on any other date.

How the age is worked out

Your age is the number of birthdays you have had. The calculator counts whole years first, then whole months from your last birthday, then the days left over. When a month is shorter than your birth day, the month anniversary falls on its last day, so someone born on 31 January reaches one month on 28 February (29 in a leap year).

Example: born August 15, 1990, on March 10, 2026 the age is 35 years, 6 months and 23 days, which is 12,991 days or 1,855 weeks and 6 days. The next birthday is on August 15, 2026, 158 days later.

Total days and weeks

Total days counts the calendar days from the date of birth up to the chosen date, not including the birth day itself, the same way you would count nights. Weeks are total days divided by 7, with the remainder shown in days.

Born on 29 February

In years without 29 February you can choose whether the birthday falls on 28 February or 1 March. The choice changes the age only on 28 February of a common year, and changes the countdown to the next birthday. Laws and organisations do not all use the same convention.

Privacy

Everything is calculated in your browser. Your date of birth is not sent anywhere and is saved on this device only if you tick the box.

How do I calculate my age?

Subtract your birth year from the current year, then subtract one more if your birthday has not come yet this year. For months and days, count from your last birthday.

Does the age at a past or future date work?

Yes. Change "Age on this date" to any date after the date of birth, for example the start date of a contract or an exam.

Why does someone born on 31 January reach one month on 28 February?

February has no 31st, so the calculator uses the last day of the month. This is the usual convention for adding months to dates.

Which time zone does it use?

Only calendar dates are compared, so time zones do not change the result. "Today" is today’s date on your device.

Is this the Korean or East Asian age?

No, it is international age, which starts at 0. Japanese 数え年 and Chinese 虚岁 are shown on the Japanese and Chinese pages. For Korean 만 나이, use Gyesanso.

Server Time Checker: Exact Time on Any Website (ms)

Enter a website address to see the clock its web server uses, to the millisecond, with an honest error range.

How is it measured?

Every web server response carries a Date header with the current time in whole seconds, so a single reading can be off by up to a second. Minuto’s measuring server on Cloudflare sends several short HEAD requests to the site and narrows down the moment the second ticks over, which gives the offset to well under a second. It also measures the gap between that server and your device and combines the two. The ± value on screen is the largest error this method allows.

Why server clocks differ

Most servers sync with internet time (NTP), but some drift by hundreds of milliseconds or even seconds. Phone and computer clocks can be off too. Sales usually open by the seller’s server clock, so that is the clock worth watching.

Limits

A slow or unstable connection widens the ± range.

When a CDN caches responses, the Date header can be hours old. Minuto uses a fresh address each time and throws away cached responses, but some sites may still be inaccurate.

The main site and the actual checkout or queue servers can differ. If checkout runs on another domain, try that domain.

Knowing the server time does not guarantee a ticket. Queues and server processing order matter far more.

Using it for ticket sales

Check the seller’s server time 5 to 10 minutes before the sale.

Enter the target time (for example 10:00:00) and turn on the flash and beep.

Refresh or press the button right at the target time. Pressing too early may just show a “not on sale yet” page.

Don’t hammer the refresh button. Sites may treat it as abuse and block you or move you back in the queue.

Is it accurate to the millisecond?

Milliseconds are shown, but the real accuracy is the ± value, usually tens to a few hundred milliseconds depending on the network.

Where does the address I type go?

Only the domain goes to Minuto’s measuring server (Cloudflare Workers), which contacts the site. The address and your IP are not stored or logged. Your last address and target time stay in this browser.

How often does it re-check?

Once a minute while the page is on screen, up to 20 times, to avoid putting load on the site.

What if my phone screen turns off?

The browser may pause, so the beep might not play. Keep the screen on near the sale time.

Online Metronome - Free, Accurate, with Tap Tempo | Minuto

Set a tempo and press Start. Mute it and you can still follow the beat on screen.

How to practice with a metronome

Start slow enough to play it right. Your starting point is the tempo you can play without mistakes, not the target tempo. It is fine if it feels too easy.

Speed up in small steps after a few clean runs. Raising the tempo by 2 to 5 BPM at a time gives your hands a change they can follow. The speed trainer can do this for you every few bars.

Subdivide slow tempos. When beats are far apart, as at 60 BPM, it is easy to rush without noticing. Eighth or sixteenth subdivisions fill the gaps so the pulse stays steady.

Hear the click on 2 and 4. For a jazz or swing feel, halve the tempo, turn off the accent and treat each click as beats two and four. Filling in the other beats yourself builds a strong internal pulse.

Keep sessions short and frequent. Set the practice timer to 10 or 15 minutes and the metronome stops on its own, so you can focus on one passage.

Find a song’s tempo with tap tempo

Press Tap tempo or the T key along with the music. The BPM is the average of your most recent taps (up to eight), and a pause of two seconds starts a new measurement. Four or more taps give a steadier reading.

Built for steady timing

Ordinary browser timers can run tens of milliseconds late when the page is busy. Minuto schedules each click on your audio device’s clock about a tenth of a second ahead, and its timer only keeps that schedule topped up, so a busy moment on screen does not shift the beat. All sounds are synthesized in the browser, and the on-screen beat keeps moving when the sound is muted.

Tempo markings and BPM

Italian tempo markings describe a character, not an exact number, so sources give different and overlapping ranges. Below are commonly cited approximate ranges. To show a single name on screen, this metronome uses a simplified split that does not overlap.

Marking · Meaning · Commonly cited BPM · Shown here at

Larghissimo · Extremely slow · 24 and under · 20–24

Grave · Very slow and solemn · 24–40 · 25–39

Largo · Slow and broad · 40–66 · 40–54

Adagio · Slow, with expression · 44–66 · 55–65

Andante · At a walking pace · 56–108 · 66–107

Moderato · At a moderate speed · 108–120 · 108–119

Allegro · Fast and bright · 120–156 · 120–155

Vivace · Lively and fast · 156–176 · 156–171

Presto · Very fast · 168–200 · 172–199

Prestissimo · Extremely fast · 200 and over · 200–300

The metronome and tempo marks

Writing tempo as a number of beats per minute spread in the first half of the 19th century, after Johann Nepomuk Maelzel’s metronome. Beethoven was one of the first composers to use it: in the 1810s he published metronome marks for the eight symphonies he had written by then.

What does BPM mean?

Beats per minute. At 60 BPM there is one beat per second, at 120 BPM two. Which note gets the beat is usually set by the bottom number of the time signature: in 4/4 it is the quarter note.

How do I count 6/8?

Six eighth notes per bar, felt as two groups of three: count “1-2-3-4-5-6” with weight on 1 and 4. In 6/8 this metronome clicks every eighth note and accents 1 and 4. If the score marks a dotted quarter = 60, set the BPM to three times that, 180.

The sound and the dots seem out of sync

Bluetooth headphones and speakers can delay sound by tens to hundreds of milliseconds.

60 BPM Metronome - Online, Ready to Play | Minuto

Press Start and the beat begins. You can change the tempo at any time.

How fast is 60 BPM?

At 60 BPM there is exactly one beat per second, the same pace as a clock’s second hand. It is a good place to build a steady pulse or to polish a hard passage very slowly. In tempo charts it falls in the Largo or Adagio range. The long gap between clicks makes it easy to rush, so try sixteenth-note subdivision for four clicks per second.

You can change the tempo at any time.

How fast is 90 BPM?

90 BPM is a comfortable medium tempo inside the Andante range, the “walking pace” marking. If you learned a scale or arpeggio at 60, it makes a natural next target. With eighth-note subdivision you hear exactly three clicks per second, which helps you feel where your fingers belong between beats.

How to practice with a metronome

Start slow enough to play it right. You can change the tempo at any time.

How fast is 120 BPM?

120 BPM is two beats per second. March tempo (tempo di marcia) is often given as about 120, and it is where the Allegro range begins. If 120 is too fast for a passage right now, turn on the speed trainer, start at 100 and add 2 BPM every 4 bars.

How to practice with a metronome

Start slow enough to play it right.
